This is the best southern food I have tried. The pecan pie is to-die-for. The brisket paired with mash is just perfection. Everything is made with love. The place feels homey and welcoming. (Side note: go there with an empty stomach because they will feed you)

Came here New Year's day 2025. What a great way to start the new year. The food is extraordinary. This is the best food, I mean really the best tasting food, if there was a contest Hoyts wins. That meatloaf was to die for all of the food on the buffet was amazing right down to the warm peach cobbler and ice cream the place was very clean. Extra clean. Everybody was so friendly it was kinda like eating dinner at home or at your grandma's. Great experience

Great overall experience. The owner was very nice as well as his staff. Very low key and comfortable ambiance that would remind you of visits with you grandmother who could cook! The food selections are lavish and abundant. I could not make up my mind what I wanted and bout killed myself trying to try EVERYTHING! But I couldn't do it .. had no room for Desserts. Great place to bring your Co-workers, your children, or just chill time with you Better Half! Please tell staff that Shawn sent you! Also see video of food line I'm posting. Grandma Hoyt's Country Buffet & Catering reminds me of what Golden Corral Buffet And Grill Used to be ... Good Food! Bon Appetit!

My boyfriend and I stopped by for food and were greeted cheerfully and informed about the buffet. The staff was so friendly, the atmosphere was comforting and the food was so filling I couldn’t go back for seconds even though I really wanted to. We will definitely return and bring my father. We will be telling friends as well. I highly recommend supporting this family-owned restaurant.

The owner and wait staff are absolutely phenomenal! I was greeted upon entrance and felt like I was down home! I told them it was my first time, and they gave me the complete rundown. I loved it. I started with meatloaf and many sides. I most definitely suggest the meatloaf, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, collards, and cornbread. A great lunch all around. Having a bit of a sweet tooth compelled me to try all of the desserts. I could not find a dessert that I did not like. The star of the show was the key lime pie. It is obvious why this restaurant and wait staff have received The Best Buffet award! I am most definitely returning to this gem!

Food tasty and hot. Attentive staff even told me about their sugar free desert. Very important for diabetics. The desert was pineapple cake. Not packed when I got there but as people came in the family atmosphere was still present. Always checked on me to make sure I didn't need anything.
